Spotimplant.com is a website founded in 2019, awarded the same year at the Talent competition during the 2019 ADF annual congress, and developed in collaboration with recognized hospitals and dental offices.
Spotimplant is the world's leading and most comprehensive source of information on dental implants. The website was created in response to the growing problem of identifying unknown dental implants. This is even more true with globalization and the advent of medical tourism. A recent study (1), published by Douglas Walter et al (2020), showed that 80% of practitioners had already encountered an unknown dental implant. Practitioners must therefore redouble their efforts to obtain information about their patients' implants, drowned in a considerable amount of data among hundreds of brands and thousands of references.
Spotimplant enables practitioners to quickly identify unknown implants from a simple X-ray. Based on artificial intelligence, our technology provides a complete identification report containing the necessary information to intervene in the patient's implant, that is to say, its technical characteristics and compatible prosthetic parts.
Moreover, we provide dentists-surgeons and other licensed clinicians with an implant search engine to obtain additional and detailed information on each reference.

Our team, composed of experts in implantology and data science, is constantly developing the tool and feeding the database to efficiently respond to all requests.
Through an intuitive user interface, we aim to leverage advances in AI for the benefit of dental surgeons. Our goal is to centralize information about dental implants to provide the most accurate knowledge base possible.
Your suggestions for improvements or contributions to the website are welcome.
