Spotimplant's AI algorithm is based on Deep Learning. From a simple X-ray image of a dental implant, it automatically detects its position in the image and predicts its technical characteristics and dimensions. Based on these elements, it estimates matches with implants present in the Spotimplant database by calculating a probability score. The identification report contains a list of the 10 implants that are most similar to the implant on the X-ray image.

The identification report is sent within 24 hours after the x-ray has been sent. However, in some unclear cases, additional tests are required which may delay the time of receiving the identification report. If you have not received your identification report after a few days, you can contact our customer service.

We offer a one-off package or a monthly subscription that also allows you to benefit from the advanced features of the search engine.

The periapical radiograph is the reference radiograph with the least distortion and the best image quality. Indeed, some details such as the shape of the thread or the neck are sometimes only visible on this type of radiograph.

Moreover, most of the AI algorithm has been trained on this type of images, making the probability scores more reliable.

Panoramic radiographs are a representation of the mandible (3D object) on a 2D plane image, so the deformations are more important.

In some cases, the algorithm does not give a definite answer. If in doubt, our teams will ask you for additional images and information to give you a reliable answer.

If we are unable to identify the implant, the cost of the identification will be refunded to you within 7 days.

The Spotimplant subscription is without obligation. After the 15-day trial period, you will be charged for the first month, and then each subsequent month at the same date.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to the billing area of your account.
